Announced approximately three months ago, Hogwarts Legacy is breaking record after record in terms of revenue.

According to a report shared by Warner Bros., the action production has sold over 15 million copies. Additionally, it surpassed the $1 billion mark within three months. Furthermore, Hogwarts Legacy will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

Hogwarts Legacy is coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Warner Bros. shared its revenue report for the first quarter of 2023. The revenue report proved the success of Hogwarts Legacy, based on the Harry Potter universe. The game has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide and has generated over $1 billion in revenue.

Hogwarts Legacy was released on February 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. In just two weeks, it sold over 12 million copies and earned $850 million, making it the biggest production affiliated with Warner Bros.

According to a statement from the company, Hogwarts Legacy will also be playable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Warner Bros. confirmed earlier claims that it will be released for Nintendo Switch on July 25.

The Nintendo Switch could create a new launch effect for the game. Considering both the dominance of the portable console and the popularity of Harry Potter in Japan, it seems that Hogwarts Legacy will continue to make money for a while longer.
